How to use it
- List your teams, one per line.
- Choose the match format (overs per side) and the points system. The default is 2 for a win and 1 for a tie or no result.
- For each match, choose the team that batted first and enter its runs and overs, then the same for the team that batted second. Tick All out where a side was bowled out.
- Press Update table. Download the table as a CSV file (it opens in Excel or Google Sheets) or print it for the notice board.
How the table is sorted
Teams are ranked by points, then number of wins, then net run rate. The result of each match is decided by the runs, so you don’t have to enter the winner. If the scores are level, it’s recorded as a tie.
No-result matches earn the no-result points but add nothing to NRR. An all-out innings is counted as the full quota of overs, the same rule the IPL and ICC events use.
Tips for organisers
- Agree on the tie-breakers before the tournament starts and write them into the rules. If you use head-to-head before NRR, apply it by hand after sorting.
- Decide what happens to a match reduced by weather. The simplest fair option for local cricket is to use the revised overs for both sides.
- Share the CSV after every match day so captains can check their own figures.

Frequently asked questions
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything is calculated in your browser and saved only on your device. Clearing your browser data, or pressing “Clear saved”, removes it.
Can I use it for a tape-ball or box-cricket tournament?
Yes. Pick the closest overs format (5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 or 20 overs). Only the quota matters, for the all-out rule.
What if a team is disqualified or concedes a match?
Enter the match as a result with the scores your rules specify, or leave it out and adjust the points by hand. Rules for walkovers vary a lot between tournaments.
